Bio

Angela Terzieva

Born in 1987. In 2012 she graduates from the National Academy of Fine Art (Painting). In her paintings she aims to create a reality, in which the figure, the object, the landscape are situated in conditional, abstract environment, where they loose their specifications and enter an unexpected context. Angela has has two solo exhibitions, in 2013 at Yordan Kuvliev Gallery, Sliven and in 2015 “Total Body” at Yuzina Gallery in Sofia. She participates in numerous art shows around the country and abroad. She was nominated at the 42nd International Drawing Biannale OSTEN, Macedonia and her works are part of the collection of the Museum of Drawing OSTEN, Skopje. In 2015 she receives the Award for Promising Development and Dedication to Art from the Edmond Demirjiyan Foundation. Angela’s works are part of private as well as gallery collections.
